The reverse of this silver denarius of Augustus (13 BCE) depicts Julia, daughter of Augustus, flanked by her sons Gaius and Lucius, who had been adopted by Augustus. The laurel wreath over Julia's head signifies her special role in the dynastic succession. The inscription refers to the moneyer: C[aius] MARIUS TRO[mentina tribu]. Berlin, Pergamon Museum.
